Reformation Weekend Conference in Coconut Creek, Florida

Dr. Stephen J. Nichols

Dr. Stephen J. Nichols

Looking for a way to celebrate the Protestant Reformation this weekend? If you live in South Florida, you’re in luck.  Once again, North Creek Presbyterian Church, located in Coconut Creek, Florida, will be holding a free, 2 day conference this year to celebrate the Protestant Reformation on the evening of Friday, October 28 and the morning of Saturday, October 29, 2011 on the campus of the church.

The special guest for this year’s conference is Dr. Stephen J. Nichols, an active and gifted speaker, as well as a prolific writer specializing in church history.  He has written over a dozen highly rated books, including The Reformation: How a Monk and a Mallet Changed the World and Ancient Word, Changing Worlds: The Doctrine of Scripture in a Modern Age.  The theme for this upcoming conference is “Stand on Scripture Alone: The Necessity, Authority, Clarity & Sufficiency of Scripture“.  Considering how God’s Word is being assaulted in our culture, this conference should prove to be very educational and edifying.
This conference is FREE and online registration is available here.

We are also told that there will also be Reformation themed lessons, games and activities (how does “Pin the Beard on the Reformer” sound?) for children during the conference for children up to grade 5.   It’s a cheap, Reformed date opportunity for parents – two days in a row!

For more information, contact the church (954) 428-8772.
